Job Title: Woodworking Machine Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Woodworking Machine Supervisor to join our team at A1 Doors & Mouldings Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our woodworking machine department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of woodworking machine operators, resolving work problems, and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of woodworking machine operators
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed on time
  • Train or arrange for training of woodworking machine operators
  • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Set up machines and equipment for production
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of woodworking machines and processes
