We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our team at Quality Inn & Conference Centre. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Landscape Construction and Maintenance
- Assist with the construction and maintenance of landscapes, gardens, and parks.
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
- Groundskeeping and Horticulture
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
- Cut grass and maintain lawns to a high standard.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces.
- Apply fertilizers and other treatments to promote healthy plant growth.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
- Work Environment and Requirements
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
- Work a regular 35-40 hour week.
- Work in a team environment with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Education and Experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Language and Work Environment
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on collaboration and communication.
