Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for investigating tenant/client complaints, identifying solutions, and resolving problems with HVAC/refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems
  • Action work orders, investigate tenant/client complaints, identify solutions, and resolve problems with HVAC/refrigeration equipment
  • Start HVAC systems, test lines to detect leaks, and record readings to ensure system is functioning accurately
  • Assemble, install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems and components
  • Complete maintenance duties as required in accordance with code requirements and Edon/client standards
  • Adhere to Edon's Quality Management System policies as well as OHS legislation and regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience as a licensed Technician
  • Holds a Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration Technician certificate
  • Journeyman certificate in the area of HVAC (e.g. Sheet Metal, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) considered an asset
  • Minimum four years' operational experience in facility operations
  • Ability to read plans as applied to technical areas
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Owns basic HVAC tools to perform maintenance and repairs
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
  • Holds a valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning certificate
  • Experience in exercising good judgment under pressure
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
