**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Assistant to join our team at Max Mara Fashion Group. As an Inventory Management Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and organization of our stock areas, ensuring seamless inventory management and loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and implement effective storage solutions to protect assets and ensure ease of access for the sales team.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipments and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing transfers, purchase orders, shortages, overages, and issues.
  • Coordinate the disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete props and ensure all garments are properly prepared for sales floor presentation.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including stock rotations and window changes, and maintain accurate records of stock movement.
  • Support the preparation of store inventory and ensure stock areas are maintained throughout the year.
  • Assist management with inventory-related tasks and provide support to the sales floor as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a retail stockroom or similar environment.
  • Physical capability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
