Senior Wind Turbine Technician

Spark Power, a leading provider of end-to-end electrical services and operations and maintenance services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of wind turbines across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled maintenance on wind turbine generators, including inspection, greasing, cleaning, torqueing, and tensioning of bolted connections.
- Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe working conditions.
- Conduct electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Follow and implement work procedures to inspect, repair, and maintain wind turbine components.
- Document and communicate client and company information on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, equipment, and tooling.
- Perform other daily work requirements as directed by Site Management.
- 2 years of experience working as a Wind Turbine Technician.
- Valid GE training certificates for LOTO/maintenance and additional higher-level GE certificates.
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair experience.
- Experience with motors, rotors, drives, gears, or similar.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Digital literacy and proficiency with mobile apps.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with a team mentality.
- Able to travel across Canada and work at heights (up to 400 ft).
- Ability to lift 23kg (50 lbs) and work in adverse weather conditions.
