Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Securitization Analyst to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting support for our securitization activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support securitization activities.
  • Accounting and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
  • Securitization Administration
    • Assist with the creation, issuance, and settlement of new mortgage-backed securities.
    • Prepare and review investor reports and payments.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, capital markets, and compliance.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors and government agencies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • University/College undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Commerce, Accounting focus preferred.
  • Experience
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting at a financial institution.
    • Knowledge of/experience with CMHC sponsored NHA MBS and CMB securitization programs would be an asset.
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and technical skills, with an understanding of cash flow modeling.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
