Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report all incidents reported by hospital staff, physicians, patients, or visitors, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Patrol interior and exterior facilities, preventing unauthorized access and maintaining a composed demeanor when directing individuals initiating disruptions to leave the premises.
- While on patrol, identify and mitigate risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and additional security breaches.
- Utilize two-way radios and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
- Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance, prioritizing situations and taking swift action.
- Monitor situations, cameras, property, and events, providing situational awareness and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively and truthfully with all stakeholders, providing information and assistance as requested.
- Sustain positive relationships with key stakeholders and visitors through courteous and respectful interactions.
- Screen and monitor visitors and clients in a professional manner, granting access to authorized personnel.
Education and Certification Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
