Job Summary:

The Senior Java Lead is a critical role within Citigroup Inc.'s Technology team, responsible for driving the development and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. This position requires a strong technical background in Java, cloud computing, and container technology, as well as excellent leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with multiple management teams to ensure seamless integration of functions and identify necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
  • Resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
  • Provide expertise in Java and cloud computing, ensuring application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive knowledge of system flow and standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Rates development team to integrate the scAddin 2.0 excel plugin with trader's spreadsheet.
  • Interact with technology partners, MQA partners, and the business to drive innovation and growth.
Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
  • Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
