About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Thai Ivory Cuisine. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with various tasks, including cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes by hand
  • Package take-out food and prepare simple food items
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives and sweep, mop, and polish floors
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Positive attitude and ability to multitask
