Systems Integration Specialist

The System Integrator II is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems that integrate multiple sub-systems to meet the operational and regulatory needs of the owner.
This role involves developing and implementing logic for assigned project tasks, including requirements such as logic development and testing. The Systems Integrator II will ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget, and will be coached/mentored by more experienced staff and reports to a Technical Manager or Engineering Supervisor in the department.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement control logic for assigned project tasks
- Program and commission control systems that integrate multiple sub-systems
- Develop and implement technical documentation (control logic, test procedures, user manuals, etc.)
- Program PLC/RTU systems with one or more of the following platforms: Allen Bradley, Schneider, SEL RTAC
- Program HMI/SCADA systems with one or more of the following platforms: Ignition, Wonderware, Kepware/Topserver
- Supervise on-site commissioning and start-up
- Take ownership of personal quality and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Two-year technical degree
- 2-4 years of experience in Industrial Control Systems, Integration of Robotics Systems, or programming in a related field
- Renewable energy industry exposure – Wind, PV, BESS
- Working knowledge of communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures
- Effectively uses common, discipline-specific software
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines by setting priorities
- Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management
- Gains knowledge by utilizing tutorials and learning modules as development tools
- Able to read engineering design drawings, including communication diagrams, logic diagrams, and network schematics
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SQL, Access)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Willing to travel 25-35% of the time
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must possess a valid Canadian Driver's License and ability to meet company driving standards
- Must have the ability to travel across the United States and Canada

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $75,600 - $102,400 CAD
