Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Systems Analyst to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Acute Care team, you will be responsible for providing clinical knowledge input for the design and functionality development, testing, and implementation of clinical applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to provide clinical knowledge input for the design and functionality development of clinical applications.
  • Participate in clinical business reviews, needs assessments, and contribute to the development of policies and processes that support the use of clinical applications in best practice models for service delivery.
  • Support the Acute Care clinical applications within NH and provide application training for staff and physicians, utilizing clinical nursing and system knowledge.
  • Travel regionally and provincially to provide implementation support and training.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school in Nursing, plus two (2) years recent related experience in Acute Care nursing.
  • Experience supporting end users in the use of computer-based clinical information systems, and familiarity with clinical applications and workflows.
  • Recent experience in the development and delivery of training programs in a computerized client care environment.
  • Current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
  • Current valid driver's license.
