Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at Atlantic Roll Forming Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning, evaluating daily operations, and maintaining an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet production targets
  • Read blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines
  • Direct quality control inspections to ensure high-quality products
  • Organize and maintain inventory to optimize storage and retrieval
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve efficiency
  • Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget to ensure financial sustainability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

  • 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Permanent work term
  • English language required
