About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Engineer to join our team at Wave, a leading provider of financial management solutions for small businesses. As a Front End Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop front-end components and features for our web and mobile applications using React and ReactNative.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and back-end engineering to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable UI components, libraries, and tools to improve the overall quality and maintainability of our codebase.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to investigate new technologies and frameworks, and to implement best practices for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure that all code meets the highest standards of quality, testability, and maintainability.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience with React, JavaScript, and/or other front-end technologies.
  • Strong understanding of front-end development principles, including performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Experience with web application development, including familiarity with APIs, GraphQL, and REST.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
