Your Opportunity

Our Markham office seeks a Senior Accountant, Domestic Tax Specialist to own key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns and other tax information returns.
  • Engage with tax authorities on audits and appeals.
  • Develop tax-efficient strategies for clients to capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Identify and document tax filing positions, including risk analysis.
  • Research tax issues and prepare memoranda or client letters, including reports at the appropriate level.

Your Experience and Education

  • You have completed or are nearing completion of your CPA designation.
  • You are enrolled in the In-Depth Tax Course.
  • You have 3-5 years' experience in public accounting with tax specialization.
  • You possess extensive knowledge of relevant tax legislation, compliance, and planning.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
