About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at ComForCare Home Health Care - Richmond-Markham. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Activities: Help clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care needs, including toileting, transferring, and mobility assistance.
  • Support with Meal Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Manage Household Needs: Assist clients with household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
  • Provide Companionship and Respite Services: Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, as well as provide respite services for family members.
Requirements
  • Passion for Serving Others: A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reliable Transportation: Access to a reliable vehicle is necessary for transporting clients to appointments and activities.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver or in a senior community is an asset, but not required.
