We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at ENRIQUE CENTENO. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures
  • Operate woodworking machines
Work Environment

The work environment is physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads. The work setting is varied, with tasks performed in construction, renovation, and various locations.
