Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest quality standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights to management to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on team performance and customer feedback.
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with a focus on business or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
