Job Title: Plumbing Foreperson

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Foreperson to join our team at Modern Niagara. As a key member of our field operations team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the day-to-day operations of our plumbing installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute project mechanical system installations to a high level of productivity.
  • Manage a field team with a focus on safety and productivity.
  • Facilitate a site work culture that leads to productivity and worker engagement.
  • Coordinate installations with other trades and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Order tools and materials as required to maintain the productive flow of installations.
  • Create, track, and execute a project labour plan.
  • Perform work-related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of experience as a plumbing foreperson.
  • Red Seal plumbing ticket required.
  • Local 488 membership required, if not currently an active member.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule work to get ahead and stay ahead of schedule.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schematics.
  • Customer-focused and resourceful.
  • Ability to identify and estimate change orders.
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of the tools and equipment of the trade.
  • Experience in commercial, institutional, and hospital projects is an asset.
  • Knowledge of IPC in health care facilities is considered an asset.
