Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair sheet-metal equipment and fixtures, including machine guards, grease pans, shelves, lockers, tanks, ventilators, chutes, ducts, and metal roofing
  • Set up and operate various types of sheet-metal working machines, using a variety of hand tools in cutting, bending, forming, shaping, fitting, and assembling sheet-metal articles
  • Read and analyze work requests and applicable specifications or similar work data, developing and drawing working sketches showing view, section, or profile

The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts, as well as basic knowledge of electrical theory and experience with unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, and micrometers.

Requirements:

  • Valid A&P license, two years of aviation maintenance experience, three years of rotary wing aircraft experience, and two years on the assigned MDS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization, including US citizenship and a valid US Passport
  • Working knowledge of technical publications, Logistics Information Systems, and ability to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects
