Pharmacist - Community Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs
- Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner
- Create awareness and educate customers through public relations initiatives, such as public health days and clinics
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues
- Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
- Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license
- Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills
- Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience of formulating and executing action plans
- Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of HealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system
