Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support our engineers and technicians in the design, selection, and commissioning of automation projects. This includes programming PLCs and various systems, calibrating instruments, and ensuring the understanding of wiring plans and equipment layout in control panels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, select, and commission automation projects
  • Program PLCs and various systems
  • Calibrate instruments
  • Ensure understanding of wiring plans and equipment layout in control panels
  • Take charge of automation projects

Requirements

  • Available to travel occasionally
  • Proficient in programming software including Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware
  • Knowledge of networking, electrical standards, and the mining industry (an asset)
