Job Summary

The English Language Instructor is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering English language instruction to newcomers and immigrants in Canada. This includes obtaining and developing learning materials, being knowledgeable about PBLA protocols, and maintaining accurate student records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver English language instruction to adult learners
  • Develop and obtain learning materials as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
  • Organize and maintain documentation of participants' progress
  • Stay up-to-date with PBLA protocols and CLB Curriculum Guidelines
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a B.A. in a related field, a TESL Ontario certificate, and experience in instructing adults. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
