About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Little Scholars Childcare. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
  • Support and Guidance: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Engagement: Lead activities that foster a love for learning, such as storytelling, singing, and exploring local points of interest.
  • Child Progress and Well-being: Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, ensuring their health, security, and well-being are prioritized.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the overall well-being of our children.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Licenses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
