Senior Software Architect - Data Engineering

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to join our Data Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building modern, cloud-native data engineering solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-native data engineering solutions using modern programming languages and technologies such as Golang, Java/Spring Boot, C#, Node.JS, Kotlin, Scala, and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall strategic objectives and delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Take overall responsibility for solution planning and delivery, working closely with various stakeholders, program and project managers.
  • Ensure that your team delivers great solutions that users love by maintaining a culture of quality and engineering excellence.

Requirements:

  • Senior software architect with a passion for designing and building modern, cloud-native, fully observable data engineering solutions.
  • Experience managing, guiding, and mentoring software engineering teams, ensuring high levels of team productivity.
  • Solid experience in an agile development environment with modern programming languages and technologies.
  • Expertise in Big Data technologies and cloud migration projects is a plus.
  • Expertise in data governance or data control is a plus.
