Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada VenorTalent Full time

At VenorTalent, we are proud to partner with ReCover on their search for an experienced Building Transformation Specialist for the Building Transformation Program.

This role can be based anywhere in Atlantic Canada.

ReCover is a forward-thinking non-profit organization committed to transforming buildings into energy-efficient, sustainable spaces. They help building owners and communities identify, optimize, and implement deep retrofit solutions to enhance comfort, reduce energy consumption, and lower utility costs.

As the Building Transformation Specialist, you will act as a coach for building owners enrolled in the Building Transformation Program. You will be their main point of contact to educate and support them through the deep retrofit process and liaise with members across all teams to remove any barriers for program participants along the way.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the program team to ensure the successful implementation of all ReCover programs.
  • Actively engaging with program participants to support deep retrofit projects.
  • Aligning the overarching program goals with the specific objectives of individual participants.
  • Assisting building owners throughout the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
  • Maintaining consistent and transparent communication with participants, team members, and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying, verifying, and assisting building owners in applying to funding sources.

The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability and energy-efficient practices, with a background in building management, building science, architecture, engineering, energy auditing, or a property management role involving decision making for building upgrades. Required experience includes a bachelor's degree or a diploma in Sustainability, Construction Technology, or a related field.
