Job Description:MPE Engineering Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Water Resource Project Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role:- We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in water resource infrastructure design and drafting.
- The successful candidate will assist in the planning and execution of fieldwork such as topographic surveys, site inspections, and data collection.
- This role requires close collaboration with engineers, technologists, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of water resource projects from conceptual design to construction management.
- You will be responsible for conducting hydraulic modeling and analysis to support water management solutions.
- A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field is required.
- Experience in water resources would be considered an asset.
- 0–5 years of experience in a related field, preferably with dams, canals, or drainage systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK) is necessary.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.
- Show an aptitude for general construction methods.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in the field for extended periods of time.
- A fulfilling position that allows for a variety of projects.
