We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Everest Sparkle Building Maintenance.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the trade and hold a secondary school graduation certificate.

  • They will work on various sites, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, while scheduling and coordinating work on sites.
  • The ideal candidate will estimate costs and materials, maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek and an estimated salary of $45,000-$55,000 per year.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A strong foundation in carpentry, including knowledge of building codes and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with colleagues and management.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (for site visits).
