About the Role

Mondelēz International is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining steam and chiller systems, as well as performing safety inspections and repairs on equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain steam and chiller systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform safety inspections and repairs on equipment, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to implement machine modifications and install new machinery and production systems
  • Work closely with operating colleagues to ensure high-quality products are produced while maintaining budgeted efficiencies
  • Participate in and support all safety programs, policies, and initiatives within the manufacturing location

Requirements

  • Steamfitter/Pipefitter License 307A or 4th Class Stationary Engineer Certification
  • At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining steam and chillers
  • Proven welding experience (Brazing, Stick, and MIG welding)

Working Conditions

  • This position occurs in a food manufacturing setting (plant environment)
  • Exposure to noise, raw materials, some dust, and variable temperatures is common
  • The use of personal protective equipment is required, particularly protective footwear and hearing protection as well as hard hats and safety glasses when required
