We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at Allegro Seniors Home Inc.

Job Summary

The Resident Care Aide will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a permanent position, working 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meal trays, ensuring residents receive nutritious food
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including patients' rooms and common areas
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as administering medication and performing vital signs
  • Document resident care and progress
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check
  • Immunization records and adult abuse registry check
Work Environment

The Resident Care Aide will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure. The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, and walking. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
