We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Canadian Accounting Consultants, a specialized recruiting firm focused exclusively on the placement of CPAs in the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations and key business partners to compile and analyze financial data, including the presentation of financial metrics.
  • Support leaders with financial analysis and drive financial performance through the development of insightful reports and metrics.
  • Process, analyze, and provide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance business performance and accuracy.
  • Prepare period-end reports, variance analysis, and budget process support.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, management reporting, and best practices.
  • Support the budget process, variance analysis, and provide value-added commentary and insights.
  • Perform variance analysis to budget, forecast, and prior year, and prepare period-end reports.
  • Develop metrics and insightful reports to drive performance and support various stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience, including experience using data automation tools.
  • Strong preference for hands-on database VBA macro, SQL, and financial modeling skills.
  • Aptitude for continuous improvement, including processes and controls.
