Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced TAX Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team at Baker Tilly CK, LLP. As a key member of our tax services department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tax services to our diverse client base.
About the Role
As a TAX Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of a wide range of Audit, Review and Compilation engagements. Your primary focus will be to analyze financial information, accounting processes, and operational procedures to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of complex personal, corporate, and non-profit organization tax returns.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving tax efficiency.
- Supervise junior staff during field assignments and ensure effective engagement progress.
- Provide exceptional client service to foster productive working relationships.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- An active Canadian CPA designation.
- 3-5 years post-qualification public accounting experience.
- Profound knowledge of Canadian GAAP, audit, review procedures, and tax compliance.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software.
- A team-oriented mindset and the ability to provide client-focused service.
