Enterprise Solutions Architect

Coast Capital Savings is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Solutions Architect to play a critical role in shaping our organization's technology and business strategies. This role will identify and deliver solutions that address complex technology and business challenges to support our short- and long-term goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive solution architecture plans and designs that align with business goals and improve current systems.
- Lead solution architecture design sessions with both business and technical teams, ensuring all proposed solutions comply with regulatory, enterprise architecture, and data management standards.
- Collaborate with business and SMEs to develop short and long-term solution strategies, evaluating existing technology environments to identify and address critical deficiencies.
- Facilitate conversations with stakeholders, serving as a liaison between technical teams and business units, and manage expectations to guide stakeholders towards optimal solutions.
- Guide and mentor technical teams, leading the establishment of best practices in architectural design and frameworks, and oversee the solution implementation of project delivery.
- Participate in solution governance as a member of the Solution Architecture Review Committee (SARC) when required.
- Conduct technical risk and vulnerability assessments to identify operational, financial, security, brand, industry, and regulatory risks, and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science with 7-9 years of experience, with experience designing solutions in the Financial/Banking sector preferred.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman, and experience in cloud computing platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Experience in core banking platforms, digital banking platforms, and open banking standards.
- Extensive knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes, with considerable in-depth knowledge of information architecture principles, patterns, and modelling techniques.
- Experience in designing data models using data architecture patterns, views, and tools, and analyzing and translating business requirements into long-term solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams and stakeholders.
