Job Title: Senior Technical Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Expert to join our team at Rodan Energy Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and guidance to support the development, design, construction, and operation of large-scale power plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical authority and advice to management and technical staff on complex engineering and environmental issues.
  • Develop solutions to technically complex problems and provide expert consultative services to clients.
  • Lead technical programs and projects, setting objectives and carrying out work to provide expert consultative and technical services.
  • Present and explain advice or proposed solutions, providing support rationale for major technical and environmental decisions.
  • Develop proposals and advance recommendations to correct or alleviate situations, and assist clients with implementation as approved.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering at minimum and DE Qualified as per OPG Qual would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of physics, chemistry, metallurgy, mathematics, electricity, engineering, computer science, statistical analysis, and economics to provide consultative services in designated, specialized technical fields.
  • Proficiency in technical report writing to develop, prepare, and implement standards, methods, procedures, and comprehensive reports.
  • Experience in or associated with the development, engineering, design, construction, commissioning, and operation of large-scale power plants, industrial production, or chemical process facilities.
  • Experience to understand the development and implementation of standards, methods, procedures, jurisdictional and industrial codes, and the setting of work program objectives.
