Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Landscaper to manage our landscaping projects, including building models, surveying and assessing designated sites, and applying various treatments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horticulture and be able to plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping and ornamental purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain models of landscaping projects
  • Manage and coordinate landscaping projects from start to finish
  • Survey and assess designated sites to determine the best course of action
  • Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, and repairing damaged areas
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Assess the health of lawns and make recommendations for improvement
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping and ornamental purposes
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
  • Plant and move trees
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in landscaping or a related field
  • Strong understanding of horticulture and landscaping principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, with regular exposure to the elements. The ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights is required.
