Pattar Transport is seeking a reliable and skilled Haulage Operator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Truck Driver to operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, safety procedures, and compliance with regulations.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 40-50 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have a valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and a Class 1 or A Driver's License. We offer on-the-job training for candidates who do not have prior experience.

Responsibilities
  • Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment as necessary.
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Will train.
