About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Convertus Canada Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery.
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts, and perform maintenance tasks as required.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment, including conveyor systems, fans and blowers, gas and air dryers, gas compressors, heat exchangers, hydraulic systems, and pumps and compressors.
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Red Seal Endorsement.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
