We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Soma Interiors Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure conformance to building codes
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using hand tools and machinery
- Estimate costs and materials for projects
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
You will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. The job requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work at heights.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in carpentry or a related field
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
