Mold Maker Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mold Maker Leader to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our plastics manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented mold makers, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.

• Coordinate the tooling preventative maintenance schedule with production activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to ensure prompt and accurate repair of mold breakdowns.
• Monitor daily operations in the tooling maintenance area.
• Design jigs and fixtures of various types, sizes, and shapes, and assess equipment performance.
• Assist in evaluating tooling, tracking repairs, and scheduling preventive maintenance.
• Provide supervision and training to department associates as required.

• Proven experience leading teams with a track record of achieving exceptional results and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Deep knowledge of mold design, fabrication, and maintenance with a strong background in plastics manufacturing.
• Possesses a post-secondary technical diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed with 5 to 10 years of experience in tooling.
• Experience in tool and die making or mold making is an asset.
• Experience in the automotive industry or a related industry is an asset.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Skilled at working in a fast-paced environment.
