Job Description

The Senior Manager, Taxation will be responsible for providing tax expertise to business units, supporting major capital projects, and monitoring tax developments. This role requires a strong understanding of Canadian tax legislation, regulations, and practices.

About the Client

Our client is a large nuclear enterprise in the GTA, seeking a highly skilled tax professional to join their Finance Team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax, including corporate and commodity taxes, as well as experience with tax provisions and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tax advice to business units on income tax matters and contracts review
  • Support major capital projects, including new builds and refurbishing existing facilities, considering investment tax credits
  • Monitor developments related to tax incentives and accelerated depreciation
  • Assist with revenue requirement calculations for contracted assets and other regulatory finance functions
