The Role:

As a key member of the Maple Leaf Foods team, you will be responsible for delivering system solutions related to manufacturing shopfloor applications and process automation. This will include the full system lifecycle of business process requirements gathering, solution design, and build, end-to-end system integration with user acceptance testing and go-live.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, configuration documentation, standard operating procedures, and other documentation as required during and after executing on implementation tasks.
  • Participate in regular facility / site visits focusing on in-depth understanding of business process requirements, challenges, and issues, and providing post-implementation support.
  • Must have 5+ years of industry hands-on experience implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (examples: Wonderware, Siemens, GE, Rockwell/ Factory Talk and others).
  • Hands-on expertise with Industry 4.0 methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge in the design, configuration, and testing of applications.
  • Strong understanding of integration procedures of systems and production equipment.
  • Working experience in trouble shooting production support issues.
  • Good communication skills and outstanding end-user interaction.
