Paint Mixer

We are seeking a skilled Paint Mixer to join our dynamic team at Randstad Canada. As a Paint Mixer, you will be responsible for measuring and mixing paint ingredients to achieve desired colors, operating mixing equipment, and conducting quality tests.

• Measure and mix paint ingredients for desired colors.
• Operate mixing equipment and conduct quality tests.
• Document processes and maintain a clean workspace.
• Operate a propane forklift to load/unload trucks.
• Pick and handle materials like drywall and tape safely.
• Assist in managing returns and storing items properly.
• Keep yard and warehouse clean.

• Experience in accurate paint mixing.
• Knowledge of color theory and mixing ratios.
• Ability to match colors to client specifications.
• Physically able to lift heavy paint cans and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail for subtle color variations.
• 6 months to 1 year of forklift experience.
• Valid Forklift Certification (a plus).
• Valid Working at Heights Certification (a plus).
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots (8" high).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, frequently 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions.
• Flexibility for bi-weekly shifts and occasional overtime.
