Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Moneris Solutions. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in executing specialist cybersecurity capabilities, including data protection and cryptography solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the development of our data loss prevention program
- Collaborate with data platform technology partners, including senior leadership and external partners, on data security items
- Provide support to data security audits and escalate high-risk business and technology processes to senior analysts
- Manage the day-to-day operations of data loss protection systems
- Provide data protection subject matter advice related to Moneris' data classification requirements
- Identify gaps in existing processes and procedures for improvement

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience
- Experience as a data protection advisor
- Knowledge of data treatment methods, including encryption and obfuscation
- Knowledge of data classification and data loss prevention principles
