Key Responsibilities:- Lead groups of clients on whitewater rafting expeditions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Provide instruction and guidance on rafting techniques, safety procedures, and wilderness survival skills.
- Operate and maintain watercraft, including rafts and kayaks.
- Escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Plan trips, including itinerary development and logistics.
- Operate communication devices, including emergency communication equipment.
- Maintain equipment, including rafts, kayaks, and safety gear.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in whitewater rafting or a related field.
- Wilderness First Aid Certificate, Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
- Specialized environmental skills and knowledge, including knowledge of wilderness survival and outdoor recreation.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
