Job Description:

The Chain of Custody Auditor is a contract position with SCS Global Services, responsible for assessing practices and systems relative to MSC, ASC & RFM certification standards in the seafood industry. The auditor travels to client offices, processing plants, and consumer-facing organizations to conduct audits.

  • Schedule and confirm audit dates with clients
  • Prepare and send client audit plans according to protocols
  • Conduct audits using applicable checklists, forms, and tools
  • Submit complete and accurate audit reports within established timelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environmental or biological science, marine biology, business, economics, or technical program
  • Two years' work experience in seafood or fisheries industry, food industry, supply chain management, science, traceability
  • Fluency in English and strong written communication skills
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently under pressure in a changing environment
