About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at TOWN AND COUNTRY MOTEL. This is a permanent position that requires a strong leader to oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. They will also be responsible for inspecting sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, preparing budgets and cost estimates, and recommending additional services as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependability, reliability, and efficiency
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working 35-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Salary and Benefits
