We are seeking a Underwriting Specialist in Real Estate Law to join our team at First American. In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting and preparing title insurance policies for residential and commercial properties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting title and off-title searches and following up to provide responses to customers by transaction requisition date.
  • Reviewing underlying documentation including title reports, searches, surveys and other related documents.
  • Underwriting and preparing title insurance policies for residential and commercial properties.
  • Responding to customer inquiries with respect to policy coverage, underwriting, rates and procedures.
  • Providing superior customer service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. You will also collaborate with our internal teams to ensure that all necessary steps are taken to complete transactions efficiently and effectively.
