Metal Fabricator Job Description

A-S Heating and Cooling Inc. is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal parts.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position with 30 hours of work per week. The work environment is commercial, industrial, and residential, with various locations.

The primary language of work is English.
