Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale BRT projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project delivery, technical expertise, and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Manage BRT projects to ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence. Oversee technical execution and quality control of engineering design and construction efforts.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert in BRT projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Identify discrepancies and solve problems by modifying standard approaches where necessary.
  • Business Development: Support the growth of the BRT market by building and maintaining relationships with clients. Assist with marketing proposals and track upcoming project opportunities.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Ensure client satisfaction by consistently exceeding expectations in project delivery. Maintain close relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Provide leadership and clear direction, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent AECOM by presenting at conferences, publishing technical papers, and sharing expertise in BRT systems.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (Civil Engineering, Sciences, Urban Planning, Geography)
  • Experience: 6 years of relevant project management experience, with 3+ years of specific experience in BRT projects
  • Certifications: PEng, PMP designation, or MBA or equivalent experience
