The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and submitting reports to management on a regular basis
- Recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Establishing work schedules and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently
- Training or arranging for training for team members
- Overseeing the safety of operations and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Recommending personnel actions as needed
- Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as required
- Setting up machines and equipment for optimal performance
- Supervising, co-ordinating, and scheduling the activities of workers
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production management role
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
