About the Opportunity
The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for leading a team of financial analysts and coordinating the preparation of financial reports, including the annual and quarterly MD&A, consolidated financial statements, and monthly internal consolidated financial presentations and analysis. The successful candidate will also oversee the preparation of the quarterly forecast and budget presentations, prepare the monthly corporate presentation for Executive Leadership, and prepare the board package, including the Board Report and Audit Committee Report. Additionally, the Financial Reporting Manager will liaise with external auditors, assist with internal control compliance, and provide ad hoc financial information and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About You
The successful candidate will have a CPA designation, a minimum of 5 years of post-designation experience, and a strong background in financial reporting. They will also have in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. NetSuite, OneStream, or Wdesk experience would be considered an asset. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range
$130,000/year

Vaco believes that the salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
